| The
ICD Difference
ICD Business School was established to cater to those students who do not want to be enrolled in a college or university that is large and impersonal. The success of ICD to date has been based on this principle. Attention to detail and the utmost care for the student has been the underlying ethos of ICD. Many prospective students, particularly international students do not want to be a number in a system, as is the case with most other colleges. At ICD the student is part of a family.
Part of the experience for the ICD student is obviously academic, but also, all students are encouraged to participate in the extra curricular activities. These include trips in Ireland to places of interest, both historical and of beauty. Events such as summer barbeques, Christmas parties are organised and are free to all ICD students. Each year the college organises trips to different European locations. Groups of up to fifty students travel each year to locations such as Italy, (Rome, Florence, Pompeii, Naples, Sorrento and the Amalfi coast) Spain (Barcelona Portaventura, Calella) . This allows students to experience more than just Ireland, but European cities and European culture. Imagine touring ancient Rome, viewing the Coliseum, the Vatican and visiting the ruins of Pompeii, along with shopping in one of the worlds most cosmopolitan capitals. Experience such wonders as a visit to Salvador Dali’s museum in Spain and marvel at works of art by Picasso. This year students can discover the delights of Portugal,
with visits to Estoril, Obidos, Alco Baca and Nazare. ICD will arrange
visas for students for these trips. All trips include fully guided excursions. |
